Wella Professionals hosted an exclusive VIP styling station at The RD Crusaders Event in association with OK! Magazine, a unique rock concert held at Old Billingsgate, to raise money for The Marie Curie Cancer Care Hospital, The National Neurological Development Foundation, The Moorfields Eye Hospital, Norwood – Children and Families First and The Disability Foundation.
The Wella Professionals creative hair team took appointments in the exclusive Wella Professionals styling salon on the Mezzanine level to ensure guests’ hair stayed looking picture perfect all night long. Using salon exclusive styling products from the High Hair and System Professional range, the creative hair team made sure guests were fit to face the flashbulbs as they walked down the red carpet, while the guests themselves relaxed with a glass of cold champagne. From cascading curls to intricate up dos, each guest received a personal consultation before the stylists created an individual look.
Led by Darren Ambrose, D&J Ambrose, the creative hair team included an elite pick of the hairdressing industry’s rising stars: (from left) Darren Ambrose (D&J Ambrose), Megan Zarrabi (hob salons), Leah Walton (Colour Room), Dan Spiller (Marc Antoni), Emma Hodgkins (Toni&Guy), Sabrina Martens (Keith Hall Hairdressing), Kate Mulcahay (Francesco Group), Deepa Tailor (Regis), Lee-anne Davis (Cheynes Hairdressing), Ross Strong (D&J Ambrose)

Our award winning salons on King Edward Street & Trevelyan Square in Leeds proved not only do they have the best hairdressing skills in the business but they have hearts of gold too!
Such is their passion for fundraising both salons donated both their time, staff and skills to participate in a debut event which is set to become part of a bigger, nationwide 'Masterclass' scheme.
Four nominated women, all of which are breast cancer sufferers, had their wigs cut and styled; resulting in the perfect day of pampering and a sure-fire confidence boost!
The 'Masterclass' initiative is the brainchild of Caroline Monk, a former cancer sufferer who strives to make women who are going through cancer look and feel beautiful. We are thrilled to support such a worthwhile cause which set out to make women feel feminine despite having to deal with the exhausting effects of chemotherapy.
The day was a huge success; the women left both TONI&GUY salons with their tresses having been cut into chic and wearable styles and their confidence levels soaring.
"There was no way that we could say no when Caroline asked us to get on board her latest fundraising venture; it was such a fantastic project to be involved in and so rewarding to see the ladies leave the salon looking gorgeous and glamorous! We look forward to taking part again in 2009".
said Rob of TONI&GUY King Edward Street
