English Eccentrics

‘Uniform beauty’ encapsulating the true English rose with an eccentric twist: knee high socks, thigh skimming pleats and over-sized ties. A muted colour palette of black and white with fusions of gold, sliver and pewter.

Show Inspiration:

Managed hair, 1920’s with a contemporary take. Masculine and structured with sexy undertones.

Look Created:

Low side partings with the ultimate, glassy finish, twisted elegantly into chignons, with eccentric gold/silver leather embellishments.

Look Created:

The idea was to create, dishevelled, naturally tousles hair using finger drying techniques, applying label.m Volume Mousse and Sea Salt Spray to encourage a messy, raw texture.

'The main thing that stood out with this collection was the gracefulness and elegance of the clothes - an everyday wearable elegance that consisted of classic bold colours and contrasting textured fabrics. Patent was juxtaposed with wool and chiffon, graphic lines created volumous layers and oversized accessories and corsages were used to create drama similar to that of a Hollywood starlet'

'An array of young design talent including; Thomas Sell, Emma Bell, Scott Ramsey Kyle and Dharma alongside creative musical performances from Namalee and More Assured'

Show Inspiration:

Originality - the collections are all about a DIY look, being creative and playing the material and shape. Shout out colours and super-sized bling

Look Created:

To compliment the unique and loud collections the hair was injected with masses of volume and texture - hair was firstly crimped and then roughly brushed out to leave a candy floss texture. The hair was then coated with label.m Hairspray for extra strong hold and a dynamic silhouette. Oversize hair accessories and bow add to the 'out there' appeal
