Co-founder of the TONI&GUY empire, Toni has enjoyed a career that spans over 45 years - and has helped change the face of modern hairdressing.

Sacha works closely with her International Artistic Team to interpret future seasonal trends, develop product ranges and create the directional images that shape the TONI&GUY brands.

As the daughter of co-founder Toni Mascolo, Sacha was literally born into hairdressing and her experience in the hair industry spans over 20 years. By an early age she had already proved to have the creative vision and talent to surpass her piers and the direction needed to develop a Superbrand*
The youngest-ever winner (aged just 19) of Newcomer of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards in 1991, she has been nominated for Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year three times, British Hairdresser of the Year twice and won London Hairdresser of the Year in 1999.
In preparation for the leading role she undertakes today, Sacha was Show Director for TONI&GUY for 12 years - having travelled extensively around the world showcasing her talent within the industry for numerous shows and seminars.
With her International Artistic team, she has won Best British Artistic Team a record 11 times and in 2006, Sacha added the highly coveted 'Most Wanted Look of the Year' in the Creative Head Magazine's Most Wanted Awards for an image she produced in a collaboration with VOGUE and also HAIR Magazine's 'Nationwide Salon Group of the Year to add to the company's many awards and accolades.
In 2007 Sacha was nominated for the HAIR Magazine Awards 'Hairdresser of the Year', The UK's Most Wanted Look of the Year with Creative Head plus, the British Hairdressing Awards 'Best British Artistic Team' as well as winning the title of 'Fashion Focus Image of the Year' from the Fellowship of British Hairdressing for the innovative KAIZEN Collection.
Sacha has worked closely with photographic guru David Bailey as a session stylist on a number of high profile magazines having styles the hair of numerous celebrities including Erin O'Connor, Helena Christensen, Jamelia (Model.Me campaign), Jerry Hall, Liz Jagger, Sadie Frost and Cat Deely. Recent editorial credits also include British VOGUE (having produced two exclusive sponsored summer beauty supplements), Italian VOGUE, L'Uomo, Hapers Bazaar, Tatler, WIG, ELLE, The Sunday Telegraph - plus shows for Calvin Klein, Prada, Versace and Helmut Lang.
Her ad campaigns feature in all of the most high profile fashion and style titles seasonally.
Other press coverage includes regular columns within the hair consumer press, trade coverage and quotes in all the keys womens long lead publications. She also has a high media profile.
Sacha is also Editor-in-Chief of the award winning TONI&GUY Magazine with a circulation of 100,000 that is available within TONI&GUY and essensuals salons.
Sacha's creative projects include her recent collaboration with esteemed Australian fashion photographer Troyt Coburn, to create the company's 07/08 Education collection. Through Sacha's work with numerous fashion photographers, she interprets current catwalk trends to create strong and commerically aware images that have global appeal. Her ability to know instinctively what looks great and guard the image of everything and anything, TONI&GUY has even seen her take on the role as Editor-in-Chief of the company's award-winning consumer magazine.
In 2006, Sacha's artistic direction saw the company add to its credentials the highly coveted title of CoolBrand* to its Superbrand* status, in recognition of the company's reputation as one of the UK's coolest brands and for 2008 the company has once again been voted as a Superbrand.
Her directional approach has also led to TONI&GUY's sponsorship of the UK's premier fashion event as Official Haircare Sponsor to London Fashion Week, London Fashion Weekend having recently completed a eight successful season.
Sacha is also the Global Creative Director of label.m - a Professional haircare range that is sold within TONI&GUY and essensuals salons - as well as specially appointed salons in 42 markets worldwide. Her role combines everything from developing the brand's image, through to the textural quality and fragrances, as well as researching the right blend of high quality ingredients.
This also requires her to translate the product range into an editorial collection for major campaign shoots - producing the nation-wide advertising images constantly featured in the key hair, beauty, fashion and lifestyle publications in the UK and Internationally.
Sacha also worked on the development of re-launching the TONI&GUY 'Signature range' - a 45 piece three colour-coded haircare system, which is exclusive to Boots stores nationwide in April 07. Then only five months later,there was the launch of Model.Me, an exciting new haircare range developed in partnership with leading fashion and music personalities Erin O'Connor, Helena Christensen and Jamelia. This capsual collection of 15 products marked the first ever haircare range not just endorsed, but also developed as a collaboration between leading personalities and a hairdressing brand.
For 2008, one of Sacha's many projects includes the introduction of label.m Organic - bringing to fruition a personal vision she's had over the last few years for a truly natural collections and also in direct response to clients' demand for a range that not only performs - but created 'to bridge the gap between performance and a degree of accountability'
