Who is the Creative Cut & Colour Course for?
The TONI&GUY Creative Cut & Colour is designed for qualified hairdressers looking to elevate their skills and take their creative work to the next level. Ideally, applicants will have around three years of salon experience and be ready to further develop their technical ability, confidence and creative visio.
This course is aimed at qualified hairdressers who are ready to progress their skills and creative career. Ideally, we recommend around three years of salon experience, as the course is designed to build on existing technical knowledge rather than teach the fundamentals of hairdressing.

2 days: £650 + VAT
3 days: £850 + VAT

What is the course format?
You can choose between one, two or three-day course options, depending on your learning goals and availability.
The programme combines personalised education, hands-on learning and practical demonstrations. You’ll work closely with experienced educators to refine your technical skills, explore creative techniques and develop your confidence as a stylist.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Students need to bring their hairdressing kit including scissors, razor, brushes, combs; hairdryer; sectioning clips
We provide colour and styling products, plus models and mannequin heads.
Will I get to work directly with the TONI&GUY Artistic Team?
Yes. The programme gives you the opportunity to get up close and personal with members of the TONI&GUY Artistic Team, gaining insight into their approach to creativity, technique, fashion and education.
What You'll Learn
DAY ONE: THE CREATIVE LANDSCAPE
Start by exploring the ideas, techniques and trends shaping modern hairdressing. Through demonstrations from the TONI&GUY Artistic Team, discover how current hair fashion translates from the runway, editorial and global creative scene into the salon.
Develop your understanding of shape, cutting, colouring and styling while learning how to recognise what makes a look current, relevant and desirable to today’s clients. Hands-on workshop sessions then allow you to begin putting these principles into practice.
By the end of the day: you'll have a stronger understanding of where hair fashion is heading and the technical foundations to start translating those trends into your own work — keeping your skills relevant and your offering fresh.
DAY TWO: TREND TO CLIENT
Turn inspiration into in-demand salon work.
Build on the techniques introduced on Day 1 through further demonstrations and practical workshop sessions. Explore how to take creative inspiration and adapt it into personalised, wearable results that work for real clients.
Develop your understanding of shape, texture, movement and styling while refining your ability to assess the hair, identify the right approach and tailor current trends to individual clients. Learn to move beyond simply recreating a trend and instead interpret it in a way that feels modern, personal and commercially relevant.
By the end of the day: you'll be better equipped to offer clients the current looks they want, while adapting trends to suit different hair types, lifestyles and individual style — helping you stay relevant and competitive behind the chair.
DAY THREE: CREATE YOUR EDGE
The final day brings together the technical skills, trend awareness and creative thinking developed throughout the programme. Through advanced demonstrations and hands-on workshop sessions, refine your technique and develop complete, individual looks with guidance from experienced Artistic Team educators.
Push your creative thinking further as you make decisions around shape, colour, texture and finish, learning how to take inspiration from the latest hair fashion and turn it into your own work.
The programme concludes with a focus on taking your skills beyond the classroom — giving you the confidence to continue researching trends, evolving your technique and bringing fresh ideas into the salon.
By the end of the day: you'll leave with the technical confidence, creative perspective and trend awareness to keep your work current, offer clients something new and continue developing as a more in-demand hairdresser.
